Eugenia Valdés-Balsinde has 30 years of experience in Marketing and Management, encompassing a wide array of business functions including strategic planning, business plan development and execution, human resource management, budget planning and execution, new product development, brand strategic management, communications management and cross functional team leadership.


She has worked with a multi-cultural diversity of people across different functional responsibilities, business units and countries, successfully establishing plans and leading teams toward common goals.   


Eugenia forged her marketing career with leading global consumer goods companies in both the United States and abroad, including Procter & Gamble, Pillsbury, Clorox and Verizon, working across multiple categories ranging from personal to home cleaning, to beauty to telecommunications products and services. She had a 13-year career with Johnson & Johnson, where she held a number of senior marketing positions, leading to her five-year tenure as Director of the company’s Caribbean Consumer Business Unit.  


Eugenia has a wealth of experience managing businesses and projects.  She has prepared and implemented strategic business plans, budget proposals, organizational restructurings and product launches, among many other business functions.


Eugenia earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Arts from Georgetown University in Washington DC, an MBA from Washington University in St Louis, and a Certificate of Leadership in Educational Technology from George Washington University in Washington DC.   She is a certified coach with the ICF.
